RESIST for Nurses
Overview
A 3-day sonography training course focusing on the basics of ultrasound scanning, including physics and probe manipulation, and moving onto core scanning of the abdomen.
Day one is spent with the Academy Sonographer Trainer. The two subsequent days will be spent on the ScanTrainer ultrasound simulator which is a self-directed training simulator which takes the trainee through various modules to gain basic competence in sonography.
